WISHES is now an accredited ICDL Test Centre

Wisdom International School for Higher Education (WISHES) is now recognized as the first International Online Higher Education ICDL Approved Test Center (ATC).

Regional Conference of Women Peace Advocates held in Davao City

The Philippine Council for Islam and Democracy convened the Regional Conference of Women Peace Advocates at the Waterfront Insular Hotel in Davao City on 24-27 January 2010. The WISHES Board Chairman and WEFOUND Managing Director, Dr. Norlain Dindang, attended the conference. The delegates are distinguished Aleemaat and prominent women who are considered “Noor-us Salam: Women of Faith, Light of Peace” The conference aimed at strengthening the collaboration among and between the Aleemaat and the women in civil society.

WISHES co-organized the International Symposium on Muslim Education in Manila

The Commission on Higher Education, Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (CHED-ARMM), Wisdom International School for Higher Education Studies (WISHES) and the Integrated Mindanao Economic Forum (IMEF) jointly organized an international symposium on Muslim Education with the theme: “The Role of Higher Education in Fostering Islamic Understanding for Global Peace and Sustainable Socio-economic Development” at Manila Hotel in Manila, Philippines on February 16-17, 2009.

WISHES invited to the 3rd Ulama Summit in Davao City

The National Ulama Conference of the Philippines (NUCP) convened the 3rd National Ulama Summit at the Waterfront Insular Hotel in Davao City on 25-29 January 2010.

The WISHES President, Dr Omar Mababaya, and Board Chairman, Dr. Norlain Dindang, attended the summit. The Ulama summit, with the theme "Common Word towards a Common Peace" attempted to explore a common ground and framework for sustainable peace and development.

WEFOUND Chairman invited to the Exemplary Mother Award 2009 in Singapore

The Exemplary Mother 2009 Award, organized by Jamiyah Singapore, was held on 24 October 2009 at the Raffles Ballroom of Swissotel The Stamford in Singapore. H.E. S.R. Nathan, President of the Republic of Singapore, and his wife were the principal guests of honor.
