About WISHES

Wisdom International School for Higher Education Studies (WISHES) is recognized by the Philippine government through the Commission on Higher Education, Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (CHED-ARMM) as an accredited institution of higher learning for higher Islamic Studies (Diploma, BA, MA and Doctoral degree programs) and other degree programs (MBA and DBA) relevant to professional growth, well-balanced personality and ultimate success.

CHED-ARMM Research and Development Capability Building Workshop Held in Davao City

The Commission on Higher Education, Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (CHED-ARMM) sponsored and conducted a Research and Development Capability Building Workshop on July 12-13, 2010 in Davao City. Dr. Omar Mababaya, the President of the Wisdom International School for Higher Education Studies (WISHES), was invited to this workshop.

Muslim Women Assembly Held in Davao City

The First Da'wah Assembly of Muslim Women was held in Davao City on May 8, 2010. Dr. Norlain Dindang Mababaya, the Chairman of the Wisdom International School for Higher Education Studies (WISHES), addressed this important assembly with the topic "The Ideal Muslimah".

IIFSO General Assembly in Jakarta

The International Islamic Federation of Student Organizations (IIFSO) held its general assembly in Jakarta on 4-7 June 2010, with the theme “IIFSO…40 years…and another make of history”.

WISHES President awarded "Best Presenter" during the 1st Postgraduate Colloquium at USIM, Malaysia

The First Postgraduate Colloquium 2010 -- with the theme “Towards the excellence of knowledge” -- was held on 14 June 2010 at the Faculty of Leadership and Management Lecture Hall, Islamic Science University (USIM), with the following objectives:

To strengthen the relationships among postgraduate students in USIM.
To provide better understanding of the latest development and findings within the variety of research fields that exist in the university.
