REGISTRATION AND FEES

GUIDELINES ON ADMISSION AND REGISTRATION

Admission

All applicants for admission to the Wisdom International School for Higher Education Studies (WISHES) must have good moral character; must possess the ability to use their talents to the fullest; must have passed the entrance examination/and or interview; and must have good academic standing in their previous classes or completed their grade school level with at least satisfactory grades.

Enrollment Procedure

1. Secure registration form from the Office of the Registrar.

2. Present the required records and credentials.

3. Take the placement examination and interview.

4. After passing the examination and interview, submit all the requirements for admission to the Registrar.

5. Pay the required fees for registration and (first month) tuition to the Registrar.

Requirements for Admission

For New Pupils/Students:

Kindergarten 2 (Senior Kinder)	Above 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 years old by June and passed the interview
Grade 1	Pre-school records, Entrance examination fee P100, and passed the exam and interview exam
Grade 2-6	Report Card (Form 138), Entrance examination fee P100, passed the written and interview exam
High School	Report Card, entrance examination fee P100, passed the written and/or interview exam, and medical examination if needed

Admission Requirements for Other Applicants

For Old Pupils/Students:

For Transferees:

2. Passed Entrance Exam
3. Certificate of good moral character from the school
4. Submit the following:
    - Birth Certificate (original Copy for verification and photocopy for file)
    - 2 copies 2”X2” ID picture (colored)
    - 2 copies 1”Xl” ID picture (colored)

Note: The fees indicated above are non-refundable and subject to change without prior notice.

ENROLMENT PERIODS:

· Early Registration: January 16-March 30, 2012

· Normal Registration Dates: April 2-May 25, 2012

· Late Registration Dates with penalty of additional PhP300/pupil: May 28-June 8, 2012

Special Fees

The following fees are also imposed when needed:

P100 Examination/Entrance Fee	P200 - Late Registration fee

Family Tuition Fee Discounts for Regular and Weekend Classes

* Discount applies to only one child of a family with two or more children.

SCHOLARSHIP AND FINANCIAL AID

The following Scholarship/ tuition/ fee grants are given to poor but outstanding students who pass the entrance and scholarship examination:

1. Full or 100% tuition/ fee grant

2. 75% tuition/ fee grant

3. Partial 50% tuition/ fee grant

Abdullâh ibn ‘Amr reported that Allâh’s Messenger said, “Knowledge consists of three things: the decisive verses (Qur’ân), authentic Ahâdîth and prescriptions rightly deduced from the two. What is beside them is superfluous.” (Ibn Mâjah 1/54)

Anas Bin Malik reported that Allah’s Messenger said, “Seeking of (Islamic) knowledge is incumbent upon every Muslim...” (Ibn Majah 1/224 and Tirmidhi 218)

Abdullah Bin Mas`ud narrated that Allah’s Messenger said, “A man shall be asked concerning five things on the day of resurrection: concerning his life, how he spent it; concerning his youth, how he grew old; concerning his wealth, whence he acquired it, and in what way he spent it; and what was it that he did with the knowledge that he had.” (Tirmidhi 5197)
