7. Learning Islamic knowledge is compulsory to all Muslim men and women:

Anas Ibn Malik رضي الله عنه reported that Allah's Messenger صلي الله عليه وسلم said, “Seeking of knowledge is incumbent (compulsory) upon every Muslim....” (Ibn Majah 1/224 and Tirmidhi 218)

8. Allah promises to reward those who learn Islamic knowledge:

“...Allah will raise up, to (suitable) ranks (and degrees), those of you who believe and have been granted (Islamic) Knowledge. And Allah the Almighty is well-acquainted with all you do.” (Qur’an 58:11)

9. WISHES pupils and students (from Elementary to High School) are being taught and trained to pray Dhuhr and ‘Asr prayers in the Wisdom Mosque. They are being reminded to perform their daily prayers based on the following:

Prophet Muhammad صلي الله عليه وسلم said, “The difference between us and the non-Muslims is prayer. Whoever abandons prayer is a disbeliever.” (Ahmad, Abu Dawud Tirmidhi 574, Nasa'i and Ibn Majah)

Prophet Muhammad صلي الله عليه وسلم said, “Order your children to pray at the age of seven, beat them to do so at the age of ten, and separate them (the boys from the girls) in their beds.” (Ahmad, Abu Dawud and al-Hakim taken from Fiq-us Sunnah 1.80)

10. WISHES requires all pupils and students to attend Friday prayer, listen and understand the Islamic Lecture (Khutbah). It is a must for all Muslim male children who reached the age of 10 and above to attend Friday prayer:

The Prophet صلي الله عليه وسلم said: "Whoever misses three Jumu’a prayers in a row (successively) out of negligence will have a seal put over his heart by Allah." (Bukhari and Muslim)

11. WISHES prepares your children to have the right aqeedah (firm belief) and be ideal practicing Muslims in the light of the Qur’an and the Sunnah so that they can pray for you and for themselves and their future families and generations to be among the people of Paradise and hence, free from Allah’s punishment in the hell-fire, إن شاء الله.

Abdullah Bin Mas`ud narrated that Allah’s Messenger said, “A man shall be asked concerning five things on the day of resurrection: concerning his life, how he spent it; concerning his youth, how he grew old; concerning his wealth, whence he acquired it, and in what way he spent it; and what was it that he did with the knowledge that he had.” (Tirmidhi 5197)

“…Truly my prayer and my service of sacrifice, my life and my
death, are (all) for Allah , the Rabb (Only God, Cherisher and
Sustainer) of the Worlds.”
(Qur’an 6:162)
